It's loaded with essential minerals and vitamins and is extremely high in Fiber, Calcium, Iron and Protein.
Jowar comes with a fibrous texture and a mild but unique flavour. It's a healthy alternative to the all-purpose flour Maida, and is also diabetic friendly. This millet is grown abundantly across India and is used to make rotis, pakora batter and versions of fried or baked indian snacks. We source our flour from Hamirpur, U.P, where it is cultivated by a group of farmers who've worked really hard over the last decade to convert infertile, ravine land into an organic oasis.
